OPTCL Advertisement Number MPP&R – 05/2023: Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited, invited online applications from eligible Diploma holders in Electrical Engineering for recruitment of Junior Management Trainee (Electrical) Positions at various units of OPTCL across the State.

The Junior Management Trainees shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 18,000/- per month during the period of training.

On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Junior Manager (Electrical) (Level:EE-1) on probation for a period of one year in regular establishment in the Pay Matrix:- Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/- with Initial Basic Pay of Rs. 44,900/-

Qualification: Candidates must possess Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with
at least 60% marks (50% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates) in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01-January-2023. Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee: Rs. 1180/- for Unreserved/ SEBC Category candidates

Rs. 590/- for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of Odisha state, PWD candidates. Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee by online mode ((Through Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking).

Selection Procedure: The Computer Based Test comprising 200 number of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), out of which Numerical/ GK & Reasoning (10%), Subject Knowledge (80%) and English Knowledge (10%). The Computer Based Test will be of three hours duration.

Candidates qualified in CBT shall be called for Skill Test. The Skill test will carry a weight of 20%.
