Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board, invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Un-Armed Branch and Armed Branch Constables in Assam Police.
Recruitment rally will be conducted in the districts of Assam for selection of candidates for appointment of 1646 vacant posts of Constable of Unarmed Branch of District Executive Force and 2300 posts of constables of Armed Branch in the scale of pay Rs. 14000-60500/-, with Grade pay of Rs 5600/-.
Selected candidates shall be required to undergo basic police training. Candidates will be on probation for a period of one year.

Educational Qualification:
Un-Armed Branch- Candidate should have passed H.S./ Class XII examination from a recognized Board or Council.
Armed Branch- Candidate should have passed H.S.L.C./ Class X examination from a recognized Board or Council.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years, and not more than 25 years as on 01-January-2023. Candidate must be born on or before 001.01.2000 and on or after 01.01.1993. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.

Mode of Selection: Candidates will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) of 40 marks, Written Test consist of 100 multiple choice type questions of 50 marks, Extra-curricular activities and special skills of 10 marks.
