Naval Dockyard, Eastern Naval Command, Indian Navy invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of General Central service, Group C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, Non-Industrial Posts of
Fireman (Erstwhile Fireman Grade II)– 122 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level-2 Rs. 19,900 – 63,200/-
Fire Engine Driver (Erstwhile Fire Engine Driver Grade II)– 07 Vacancies, Pay Matrix Level-3 Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/-
in the units under administrative control of Eastern Naval Command.
The positions to be filled up by absorption from the persons serving in similar, equivalent or higher grades in lower formations of the defence services.

Qualification- Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board/ Institution.
Candidates must be physically fit and capable of performing Strenuous duties and must have passed Physical fitness test and Endurance Test.
Candidates must have fulfil experience criteria in order to be eligible for said post(s).
Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 56 years of age as on the last date of application. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, Physical Efficiency/ Fitness Test, Provisional Appointment Letter, Document Verification.
How to Apply: Interested candidates are suggested to send duly completed application form completed in all manners in plain paper (A4 Size) (good quality paper should be used) either neatly hand written or typed as per the prescribed format, affixed with recent passport size colour photograph (not older than 3 months) duly self-attested.
The envelop must be clearly superscribed on the top as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF<NAME OF POST> BY TRANSFER (NOW ABSORPTION) and forwarded to the following address so as to reach by the last date of submission.
