Haryana Police Constable (General Duty) Male & Female Recruitment 2024 [HSSC Adv. No. 1/2024]
Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited online applications from male and female candidates for recruitment of 5000 Posts of Male Constable (General Duty), and 1000 Posts of Female Constable (General Duty).
Constable (GD) – Male: Total 5000 Posts
Constable (GD) – Female: Total 1000 Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET), Physical Measurement Test (qualifying), Physical Screening Test (qualifying). -The Candidates who have qualified Physical Measurement Test shall further appear in Physical Screening Test (PST) to judge their physical fitness and endurance.
The Written Examination Paper: 70% questions comes from the General Studies, General Science, Current
Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and other relevant fields/ trade. 20% questions relating to basic knowledge about Haryana State, and 10% questions relating to
basic knowledge of computer.
There shall be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 11 March 2024
Education Qualification: The candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or its equivalent from a Board or university recognized by the Central or State Government. Candidates should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to matriculation standard.
Age Specification: A candidate must be aged between 18 to 25 years as on 01-February-2024 to be eligible for this consideration. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the Punjab Police rules as applicable to Haryana State.
Physical Standards: Candidates must have fulfill required physical standard.
Pay Provisions: The applicants gets selected as Constables (General Duty) will be receiving Rs. 21700/- Level-3, Cell-I.
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done abiding the following procedure:
Physical Screening Test, Knowledge Test, Physical Measurement Test, Interview cum Personality Test, Final Medical Examination
