West Bengal Police Recruitment Board, invites applications from eligible candidates for Recruitment to the post of Forest Guard under Directorate of Forests, Government of West Bengal. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Competitive Written Examination, Physical Standard & Physical Efficiency Test, Personality Test.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,400 – 25,200/- (Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/-

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 21-April-2017
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 19-May-2017 [However, submission of Online Application Forms under the United Bank of India Challan Payment Mode remains open till 24-May-2017]
last Date for receipt of Filled in Application Forms through Postal Services: 19-May-2017
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any institution recognized by the State Government or the Central Government. Candidates must have fulfill minimum physical standards.
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01-Jan-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per West Bengal government rules.

Rs. 20/- for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe category candidates
Rs. 220/- for All categories except Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
