Eligiblity Criteria:-
Qualification: The candidate must have passed +2 (Matriculation with 12th) Science examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent. Candidates must possess Diploma in Pharmacy/ B.Pharm from Government Medical Colleges and Hospitals.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 21 years and Maximum age limit is 38 years as on January 01, 2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination (100 marks), followed by Documents Verification.

OSSSC Combined Recruitment Exam 2023 Advertisement for Group ‘C’ Posts:- Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of the District/ Division Cadre ‘Group C’ Posts of Forester, Forest Guard and Livestock Inspector under various Department of Government of Odisha.
Total Number of Vacancies: 2712 District/ Circle/ Division Cadre Posts
Forester: 316 Vacancies; Pay Matrix Level- 7
Forest Guard: 1677 Vacancies; Pay Matrix Level- 4
Livestock Inspector: 719 Vacancies; Pay Matrix Level- 5

Minimum Qualification Required:
Forester- The candidate must have passed +2 (Matriculation with 12th) Science from recognized university, Institution or Board as the case may be with knowledge in basic Computer skills.
Forest Guard- The candidate must have passed High School Certificate Examination (10+) from recognized Board or Institution.
Livestock Inspector- The candidate must have passed +2 Vocational Course in the field of Animal Husbandry or Dairy or Poultry or Meat or Animal Production or +2 Science from recognized university, Institution or Board or Council. or Gomitra candidates must have passed +2 Science or +2 Vocational Course in the allied Animal Husbandry activities for three years under National Project for Cattle and Buffalo Breeding.
Candidates must also have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; or passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subjects; or passed Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above; or passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.
Age Limit as on January 01, 2023: Minimum age limit is 18 years and Maximum age limit is 38 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Written Examination. The recruitment examinations shall be held simultaneously in all districts having posts to be filled up. The date/ time/ venue of the Written Test will be conveyed to the eligible candidates through the admission letters to be issued online.
Examination Fee: Rs. 100/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through online mode. SC, ST , and PwD candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through E-payment by using the link available in the OSSSC portal OR through Online Mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card OR through Offline Mode in shape of Challan drawn under the “Head of Account 0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213” OR through Conventional Mode into the Treasury challan under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.
