Latest Update: The Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017 (Paper-II) was held on 15-12-2017 at different centres all over the country.
29-December-2017: The candidate’s response sheet along with the tentative answer keys are now available at Tentative Answer Keys- Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017 (Paper-II)
06-September-2017: Only those candidates declared qualified in PET/ PST will be called for Paper – II and that the Medical Examination would be conducted subsequently.
21-June-2017: In partial modification to the earlier announced date(s) of the said examination from 30th June, 2017 to 7th July, 2017, the Commission would now be conducting the said examination from 1 st July, 2017 to 7th July, 2017.
Accordingly, the candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards from the websites of the concerned Regional Offices.
15-May-2017: Last date for submitting online application has been extended upto 16.05.2017 (5.00 PM). SBI Challan can be generated upto closing date and time and payment through SBI challan can be made upto 19.05.2017 on working hours.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their total marks in the Written Examination in Paper- I and II, followed by Medical Test/ Physical Endurance Test [Mandatory for all the posts, Qualifying]. There will be NO Interview.
Candidates selected for appointment for posts of SI in CAPFs and ASI in CISF are liable to serve anywhere in India.

The Reservation for SC, ST, OBC will be applicable as per the Central Government Norms.
Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category are not eligible to apply for this examination.

Important Eligibility Conditions:
Nationality: A candidates must be a citizen of India and scheduled residents of India as per the Central Govt. Declaration in order to be considered as apply for these posts
Age Limit: Ideally candidates should be in between 20-25 years as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC category candidates, and the upper age limit for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPFs and ASI in CISF is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees applicable as per central government rules.
Academics: The applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent as on 1-January-2017. For candidates apply for Delhi Police, must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Candidates are suggested to pay the application fees through SBI Challan /Net banking and any credit and debit cards.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
