Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force, Government of Assam invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Forester Grade-I, Forest Guard, AFPF Constable, Driver Constable and Driver Positions.
Forest Guard: 1226 Vacancies
Candidates must passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council.
Forester Grade-I: 264 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
AFPF Constable: 981 Vacancies
Candidates must passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Driver Constable: 36 Vacancies
Candidates must passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Driver: 142 Vacancies
Candidates must passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test, (PST & PET) and Written Test.

Notice– The Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be conducted for the posts where the PET consists of 3200 mtrs & 1600 mtrs race for males and females respectively. Hence, candidates who have applied for more than one post having the same standard of race will attend the PST & PET only once for all the posts
he/she has applied for. The Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will start w.e.f. 13-02-2023. Candidates will have to appear for their PST & PET at the venue mentioned in their admit cards.

AFPF Constable: Rs. 14000-60,500/ (Pay Band II), with Grade Pay RS. 5600/-
Driver Constable: Rs. 14000-60,500/ (Pay Band II), with Grade Pay RS. 5600/-
Driver: Rs. 14000-60,500/ (Pay Band II), with Grade Pay RS. 5200/-
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years As on 01-January-2023 for the posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver.
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years As on 01-January-2023 for the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
