Minimum Qualification Required: Candidate must possess a Second Class Master’s Degree (M.A/M.Sc/M.Com) or its equivalent from an institution recognized by the UGC, in the relevant (Annexure-A) school subjects for which the Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) are eligible with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent.
In case of SC / ST /BC /Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% A B.Ed. or equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the NCTE with the Teaching Methodology in the concerned subject.
A total teaching experience of not less than 8 years including not less than 5 years as PGT/J.L. in any Government / Aided/Government recognized High School/ Junior College and 3 years of administrative experience as Head Master/ Principal of Government / Aided / Government recognized High School/ Junior College.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 34 years and maximum is 44 years as on July 01, 2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 40,270- 93,780/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected on the basis of online OR OMR based written examination, and Demonstration/ Viva-Voce.

Rs.200/- (application fee) + Rs. 120/- (Examination fee) = Rs. 320/-
SC, ST, BC & PH category candidates belonging to Telangana State only are exempted from payment of Examination fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the fee online through SBI ePay.
