Educational Criteria:
As prescribed in Rule 3 of the Karnataka Education Department Services (Collegiate Education Department) (Recruitment of the posts of principal (UG) (Special) Rules, 2020. The minimum qualification is Direct recruitment as per the UGC Guidelines.
Pay Scale:As prescribed in Karnataka Education Department Services (Collegiate Education Department) (Recruitment of the posts of principal (UG) (Special) Rules, 2020.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Competitive Examination.
100 Marks – 100 Questions – Objective Multiple Choice Type – 2 hours
Examination Center: Mysore, Bangalore, Dharwad , Gulbarga, and Shimoga

- For General Merit and Others {Category II(a), II(b), III(b), III(a) of other Backward Classes}: Rs. 5000/-
- For SC/ ST/ Category 1/ (physically & Visually disabled/differently abled): Rs. 2000/-
