High Court of Madras, invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of 127 Sanitary Worker, Sweeper Positions in the Madras High Court Service.
Sanitary Worker- 59 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 4800-10000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1300/-
Sweeper- 68 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 4800-10000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1300/-
Last Date for receipt of Applications: 20-July-2017
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Common Written Examination of 50 marks, Practical test of 15 marks, and Interview of 10 marks.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed in VIII Standard or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years for SC/SCA/ST/MBC&DC/BC/BCM categories, and must not have attained the age of 30 years for All others.
Application Fee: Rs. 250/- Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee through Demand Draft drawn in any Nationalised Bank in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Madras, payable at Chennai. Candidates belonging to S.C/ S.T. category are exempted from payment of Fee.

Job Profile:
Sanitary Worker- To clean the lavatories, urinals, wash basins in the office premises and chambers daily and properly and to perform such other allied works pertaining to hygiene and general maintenance of toilets and other works as assigned by the superior officers, to ensure hygienic cleanliness in the office premises. To maintain the entire office premises in a clean and tidy manner.
Sweeper- To sweep, clean and mop the office rooms, chambers, corridors, verandahs and the entire office premises daily and properly and to perform such other allied works, as assigned by the superior officers. To collect and dispose off all waste and rubbish in the office premises. To maintain the entire office premises in a clean and tidy manner.
