The Railway Recruitment Board states that the RRB has received about 2.37 crore applications for the Group C and Group D Posts advertised. This is why there is a delay in the release of the first stage CBT exam schedule/ dates for the RRB Group C and Group D Posts.
According to the latest news, The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct the RRB Group D exam in the month of August. The Exam of the RRB Group D Posts will be conducted in slots and these slots are divided as alphabetical order or name wise. The slot of the exam will start from 12th August 2018 and will end on 16th September, 2018.
It is expected that the RRB will release the admit card for the Group D Posts on August 2nd (10 days before the exam). Once the admit card will be uploaded on the website of RRB, candidates can download the admit card by entering required details.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. AGE:
The interested candidate should be within the age group of 18-31 years and would be reckoned as on July 01, 2018. The upper age limit for privileged class will be relaxed as per the norms of the government for specific categories of recruitment. (For details log on to the website of the RRBs concerned).
2. Academics:
Candidates muat have passed matriculation from a recognised baord and possess ITI from recognized institute of NCVT/SCVT, or equivalent, or National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-1 Rs. 18000/- plus admissible allowances as applicable
