POLCET-2018 Police Constable (Men and Women) Karnataka State Industrial Security Force (KSISF) 2018 – With the recent notification from the Karnataka State Police, online applications are being invited against vacancies for Police Constable (Men and Women) in Karnataka State Industrial Security Force. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination.
Number of Vacancies: 395 Vacancies [Men- 355 Posts, Women- 40 Posts]
Reservation will be applicable for various categories as per state government norms. It will benefit only native candidates of Karnataka State. Other State/UT applicants will be treated under unreserved category.

Academics: The candidates must have completed PUC, 12th Std (12th Std-CBSE, 12th Std-ICSE, 12th Std-SSE) or Equivalent from a recognized board.
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 25-June-2018 (For General candidates)
Upper age limit will be relaxed for two years that is Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years for for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, CAT-01, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category.
Upper age limit will be relaxed for five years that is Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years for Candidates belonging to any of the tribal communities of Siddis, Jenukuruba, Kadukuruba, Yerava, Soliga, Kudiya, Gowdlu, Hasalaru, Malaikudiya, and Koraga, in the forests of Uttara kannada-Karwara, Dakshina kannada-Mangalore, Udupi, Chickmagalur, Shimoga, Kodagu, Chamarajanagara and Mysore.
Minimum Physical Fitness: The candidates applying for the Constable positions will have to pass the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test to be eligible for selection.
Application Form and Fees: The candidates have to remit the requisite application fees as detailed on the website of Karnataka State Police.
Rs.250/- for GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category candidates
Rs. 100/- for SC, ST & CAT-1 category candidates
The payment should be made in State Bank of India Only. The fee should be paid through the system generated fee payment challan as available after the completion of submission of Online Application.
Selection Procedure: The candidates applying for the jobs must pass through the Endurance Test, Physical Fitness Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and appear for a written examination on the designated date. The selection will be made on the basis of results of written examination.
