Upper Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 10-November-2018. There is age relaxation of three years for OBC candidates, five years for SC/ ST candidates.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board of education. Knowledge of Local Language is must.
Desirable: Field experience in Intelligence Work.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000 (PB- 1)+ Central Government allowances
Selection Process: Written Test of 100 Marks (Objective Type Test of General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical/analytical ability, English language), Local Language Test of 40 Marks (Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect to English and vice versa), Spoken ability of 10 Marks, followed by Interview/Personality test of 50 Marks.
Examination Fee: Rs. 50/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through State Bank of India Challan (Cash deposit), or on-line account with State Bank of India only (Internet Banking) or through Debit-cum-ATM card of State Bank of India only.
Those candidates depositing fees in cash mode should verify the status of their payment after two working days. SC/ ST/ Women candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Candidates are suggested to opt for only one Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau. Candidates applied for more than one Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, will be disqualified to appear in examination. Candidates must willing to serve anywhere in India need to apply only.
