Educational Qualification: Applicants must pass Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent exam from a recognized Board of Education. Candidates must possess domicile certificate of that State against which the candidate has applied.
Candidates should have knowledge of any one of the local languages/ dialects mentioned in the official notification against each SIB. Field experience in Intelligence work is desirable.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years (27 years for Security Assistant/ Executive) as on CLOSING DATE. There is three years of relaxation in age limit for OBC candidates, and five years of relaxation in age limit for SC/ ST candidates.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 21700-69100/- Pay Matrix Level- 3 for Security Assistant/ Executive
Rs. 18000-56900/- Pay Matrix Level- 1 for Multi-Tasking Staff/ General
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of
- Tier I Online Exam of Objective Type MCQs- 100 Marks
Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on: General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Numerical/ Analytical/ Logical ability and reasoning, English language & General Studies.
[There is negative marking of 1⁄4 mark for each wrong answer]- Tier II Offline Exam of Descriptive Type- 40 Marks
Offline Exam of Descriptive type a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect to English and vice versa.
Tier II Spoken Ability will be conducted only for SA/ Executive Position- 10 Marks
Note- The Tier-II exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier-II is 20 out of 50 for SA/Executive and 16 out of 40 for MTS/General.
- Tier III Interview/ Personality Test- 50 Marks
Examination Fee: Rs. 500/- for Male candidates of General, EWS and OBC categories. Rs. 450/- for All candidates. Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through through Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, SBI challan etc.
