Qualification:
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 55% (505 in case of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Differently abled category candidates) marks.
Ph.D. degree in concerned/ relevant discipline.
Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
Candidates must have secured minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as incorporated in U.G.C. Regulation on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges.
Proficiency in the language, spoken and written, concerning the medium of instruction of the concerned institution.
Age Limit As on 01-January-2016: Minimum 40 years and Maximum 55 years
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10000/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview, and/ or Screening Test/Written Test.
Application Fee:
Rs.210/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal, and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
