Note: The appointment of Registrar, Controller of Examinations, and Finance Officer shall be based on direct recruitment for a tenure of four years, which may be extended by the order of the syndicate for further four years.

Minimum Qualification Required:
Registrar/ Controller of Examinations/ Deputy Registrar/ Assistant Registrar- The candidate must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. Candidates must have fulfill minimum required experiences in order to be eligible for consideration.
Finance Officer- The candidate must possess a master’s degree/ MBA degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale or Chartered Accountant or ICWA. Candidates must have fulfill minimum required experiences in order to be eligible for consideration.
Age Limit: 55 years for Registrar/ Finance Officer/ Controller of Examinations/ Deputy Registrar Posts, and 60 years for Assistant Registrar Post as on 01-August-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Registrar/ Finance Officer/ Controller of Examinations: Rs. 37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-
Deputy Registrar: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-
Assistant Registrar: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
Examination Fee:
Rs. 600/- + Rs.50 bank charges for General category candidates
Rs. 150/- + Rs.50 bank charges for SC/ ST category candidates of Jharkhand State
