Essential Educational Qualification [As on 21-12-2023]: The applicant must have passed Bachelors Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or an equivalent degree from a recognized University by the last date for submission of application.
Essential Age Requirement: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not have obtained more than 42 years (27 years for DSP) age as on 01-January-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for reserved category of candidates as per the state government norms.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done by through the Preliminary Written Exam of 200 marks followed by a Main Examination of 600 marks and Personality Test as per the discretion of the Haryana PSC.

(Objective type / Multiple Choices)- General Studies : 100 Marks, Civil Services Aptitude Test : 100 Marks
The result of preliminary examination shall be based on the marks obtained in Paper I (General Studies) only. Paper II that is Civil Services Aptitude Test shall be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
Main Written Examination: 30-March-2024 and 31-March-2024
Paper I : English (including English Essay): 100 Marks
Paper II : Hindi (including Hindi Essay): 100 Marks
Paper III : General Studies: 200 Marks
Paper IV : One optional subject (Candidates can choose one subject from 29 optional subjects in which he/ she want to appear in the Mains): 200 Marks
Date of Personality Test / Viva-voce [75 Marks]: To be Announced
