Minimum Qualification Required:
Horticulture Extension Worker- The candidate must have passed 10+2 Science or 10+2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subjects only such as Crop Production/ Horticulture/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.
Village Agricultural Worker- The candidate must have passed 10+2 Science or 10+2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subject in Crop Production/ Horticulture/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology shall be desirable and 5% of the marks secured in the Written Examination of the post shall be awarded extra for such qualification.
Age Limit As on January 01, 2016: Minimum age limit is 21 years and Maximum age limit is 32 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1, Rs.5, 200-20, 200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2, 000/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Written Examination of 220 marks.
Examination Fee: Rs. 100/-
SC, ST , and PwD candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Applicants are suggested to pay the examination fee through E-payment by using the link available in the OSSSC portal OR through Online Mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card OR through Offline Mode in shape of Challan drawn under the “Head of Account 0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213” OR through Conventional Mode into the Treasury challan under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.
