The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. invites applications from eligible candidate for recruitment to the post of Management Trainees in the disciplines of Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, Fire and Safety Engineering; and Officer (Sales) in Marketing discipline.
Management Trainees- Chemical Engineering: 8 Vacancies
Management Trainees- Mechanical Engineering: 4 Vacancies
Management Trainees- Instrumentation Engineering: 3 Vacancies
Management Trainees- Civil Engineering: 5 Vacancies
Management Trainees- Fire and Safety Engineering: 2 Vacancies
Selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year with a remuneration of Rs. 30000/- per month. On successful completion of training of one year, and further assessment, manager trainees will be posted as Assistant Manager on the job, in the Managerial cadre in E2 grade of pay Rs. 20600-46500/-.
Officer (Sales)- Marketing: 8 Vacancies
Selected candidates will be placed on probation for a period of six months from the date of joining and on successful completion of probation period subject to performance assessment, he/she will be confirmed in the same grade as Officer (Sales), in the E0 grade of pay Rs. 12600-32500/-.

Minimum Qualification Required:
Management Trainees-Chemical: The candidate must possess bachelor degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology/ Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical Engineering/ Polymer Technology.
Management Trainees-Mechanical: The candidate must possess bachelor degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Production/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Manufacturing Science and Engineering.
Management Trainees-Instrumentation: The candidate must possess bachelor degree in Engineering in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electrical and Instrumentation.
Management Trainees-Civil: The candidate must possess bachelor degree in Engineering in Civil.
Management Trainees-Fire and Safety Engineering: The candidate must possess bachelor degree in Engineering in Fire and Safety.
Officer(Sales): The candidate must possess B.Sc. Agriculture from a recognised University/ Institute. Candidates shall have working knowledge of at least one of the languages viz. Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, in addition to English.
Note: Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examinations.
Upper Age Limit As on August 01,2016: 26 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Management Trainees: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Officer(Sales): Rs.12600-32500/- per month
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be Selected on the basis on Online test, Group discussion and Interview.
