Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate must have passed SSC; and possess Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Electronic Mechanic OR Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance OR Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR Mechanic Consumer Electronics OR Electrician. OR Two years Intermediate course with MPC OR vocational Intermediate in Electronic Engineering Technician/ Electrical Technician after SSC.
Upper Age Limit: As on July 01,2016: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 22 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1998. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
30 years as on 1st July, 2016 if candidate is a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on the date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16,400-49,870/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Selection Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Final Written Examination.

Rs. 300/- for OCs/BCs category candidates
Rs. 150/- for SCs/STs category candidates

Minimum Qualification Required:
Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Mechanics): The candidate must have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Wiremen/Mechanic Motor Vehicle /Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter.
Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Drivers): The candidate must have passed Intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as its equivalent by the State Board of Intermediate Education and possess Light Motor Vehicle License continuously for a period not less than 2 years as on date of notification issued.
OR have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Auto Electrician/ Mechanic Motor vehicle/ Mechanic Diesel/ Fitter; and possess Light Motor Vehicle License continuously for a period not less than 2 years as on date of notification issued.
