Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board UPPRPB invites online applications from eligible female candidates for the recruitment of the post of Sub Inspector, and Assistant Sub Inspector. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Medical Exam, Written Exam & Document Verification.

Minimum Qualification Required: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from recognised University, and have typing knowledge (25 words per minute in Hindi typing, 30 words per minute in English typing). Candidates should have level certificate in computer application.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 28 years as on July 01, 2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- for Sub Inspector, and Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- for Assistant Sub Inspector Posts.
Application Fee: Rs.400/-
The candidates are suggested to pay the application fee of Rs.200 online using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking, or through e-challan.

With the recent notification from the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh there is a huge number of vacancies in the profile of Sub Inspector (Civil Police) (Female).
UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board invited applications from competent female candidates for recruitment of Sub Inspector (Civil Police) position. All these posts will be filled up in direct recruitment mode through open competitive selection. The details of the criteria for eligibility and concerned process for selection are detailed as under:
Pay Scale Provisions: The selected applicants as Constables will be eligible for a Pay Scale Rs.9300-Rs.34800 and a Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-.
Academic Requirements: The applicants must possess graduate degree from recognised university or equivalent qualification.
Candidates having O Level course in computers from DOEACC/ NIELIT; and/ or Blevel certificate in national cadet corps; and/ or certificate of two years service in pradeshik sena would get preferred.
Age Criteria:
The applicant should be within 21-28 years of age as on 01-July-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules. SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Serviceman and other deserving class candidates will get the relaxation in upper age limit as per rules. Only candidates, who are natives of Uttar Pradesh will be eligible for such relaxation in upper age limit.
Physical Standards: For selection of candidates, the standard norms as followed by UP Police will be applicable for Physical Standard Tests.
Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.400/- will be required to be submitted by the candidates. The fee can be paid through SBI/ PNB challan form as can be downloaded from the website of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board at //uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates may also pay the application fee through online mode by using debit/ credit card or internet banking.
Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done through various stages as Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Online Written Examination, and Medical Test.
How to Apply: The candidates can apply through Online mode at the website of the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board at www.uppbpb.gov.in or www.prpb.gov.in. One candidate can submit only One Application.
There are three stages of submission of Online Application
Stage-I: Online registration with essential details as name, age, education, etc.; Take printout of registration slip and bank e-challan (Note: Candidates may also pay the application fee through internet banking, debit card, credit card facility).
Stage-II: Remittance of Application Fee at any branch of SBI or PNB through the cash deposit challan; or through online mode by using debit/ credit card or internet banking.
Stage-III: Final Completion of application including the fee deposit details.
