Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for DIRECT Recruitment various positions included in the Combined Engineering Services Examination.
Assistant Electrical Inspector, Tamil Nadu Electrical Inspectorate Service: 12 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Degree in Electrical Engineering. Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training under the Government of India Scheme or the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme for one year, will be preferred.
Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering), Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Service: 94 Vacancies
Candidates must possess B.E. (Agriculture) or B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) or B.Sc., (Agricultural Engineering); or B.E. (Mechanical) (or) B.E. (Civil) (or) B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) or B.E. (Production Engineering) or B.E.(Industrial Engineering). Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health (Formerly known as Assistant Inspector of Factories) in Tamil Nadu Factory Service: 26 Vacancies
Candidates must possess a Degree in Mechanical or Production or Industrial or Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Textile Technology.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Highways Department), Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Service: 123 Vacancies
Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering OR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering Branch.
Assistant Engineer (Fisheries) in Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Service: 06 Vacancies
Candidates must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering, awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission or A pass in section A and B Examination(AMIE) in Civil Engineering Branch conducted by the Institution of Engineers(India) and practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Maritime Board) Tamil Nadu Port Service: 02 Vacancies
Candidates must possess B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering. (or) Must have obtained a pass in section A & B of the Institution of Examination, with an experience of not less than 3 years after passing the above examination.
Junior Architect, Tamil Nadu Architect Service: 15 Vacancies
Candidates must possess a degree in Architecture of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Or A diploma in Architecture awarded by J.J School of Arts, Bombay or By the Government of Maharashtra.

Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree in relevant engineering discipline; or A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under relevant Engineering branch.
Age Limit: Candidates should not have completed 30 Years (39 years for Assistant Electrical Inspector) as on 01.07.2019. No maximum age limit for applicants who belong to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and oral test. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the Applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together.
Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
Applicants who have already registered in One Time Registration system paying Rs.50/- before 01-March-2017 and those who have registered for One-Time Registration on or after 01-March-2017 by paying Rs.150/- are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.
Examination Fee: Rs.200/- The Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Differently Abled Persons, and Destitute Widow of all communities are exempted from payment of examination fee.
