Directorate General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Ministry of Home Affairs, invited applications from male and female candidates for recruitment of eight posts of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) Group-A, Gazetted (Combatised) (Non-Ministerial). Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry or equivalent from a recognized University, and have valid registration in the Veterinary Council of India.
Age Limit: Minimum 23 years and Maximum 35 years for unreserved candidates (38 years for OBC category candidates) as on 31-August-2015
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- and other benefits as per governmen rules
Application Fee: Rs. 50/-
SC/ ST and Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee in form of Bank Draft in favour of PAO,
SSB, MHA New Delhi, payable at State Bank of India, R.K. Puram, New Delhi (Branch Code- 01076).
How to Apply: Interested candidates are suggested to send duly completed application form in prescribed format along with bank draft, two identical recent passport of size 3.5 x 4.5 photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer, one should be pasted on the application form (Annexure-I) and the other on Admit Card copy (Annexure-II), two self addressed stamped envelopes (Rs.25/-) each of 11.5 cms. x 27.5 cms size, Questionnaire form (Annexure-V), Certified true copy of certificates as per requested in official advertisement;
