Sikkim Public Service Commission, invites applications from eligible local candidates for filling up of Posts of Lower Divisional Clerk on temporary regular basis in Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2600/- in the Sikkim Sub-Ordinate (Ministerial and Executive) Service under DoPART, through Direct Recruitment.
Lower Divisional Clerk: 100 Vacancies
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination [General English (MCQ and Conventional mode), General Awareness (MCQ), and Basic Computer knowledge (MCQ)]. Candidates qualified in the written examination will be called for interview

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized Board with minimum three months basic course in Computer applications.
Candidates should have knowledge of any of the State Languages viz-Nepali, Sikkimese Bhutia, Lepcha or Limboo. Candidates should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim. Candidates must have valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.
Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 30 years as on 31-May-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
