Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the notification for the recruitment of Warder Posts in various Circles of Jails under Home Department of Government of Odisha.

Warder- 236 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. Rs.5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.1, 800/-

Starting Date for Regisration/ Online Deposit of Fee: 27-December-2017
Last Date for Regisration/ Online Deposit of Fee: 25-January-2018
Last Date for final Submission of Online Application: 01-February-2018
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test (Qualifying), Physical Efficiency test of 28 marks, Written Test (MCQ type on Odia & English language, Arithmetic, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Logical Reasoning etc. of 10+2 standard) of 100 marks, and Educational Achievement of 07 marks.
Qualification- Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam conducted by CHSE, Odisha or ICSE or CBSE or any other equivalent examination.
Age Limit- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 31-Jan-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Exam Fee: Rs. 100/-
SC, ST category candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the fee by logging into the OSSSC website: www.osssc.gov.in or by the conventional mode of deposit in any Government Treasury under Head of Account- “0051-P.S.C.-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fee-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.
