Madras High Court, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Law Clerks (Law Assistants) to the Hon’ble Judges in the Principal Seat at Madras and at Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, on adhoc basis for a period of one year.

Name of the Position: Research Law Assistant (Law Clerks)
Number of Vacancies: 75 Posts
Remuneration: ₹ 30,000/- per month
Age Limit: Candidates should not have exceeded 30 years as on the 1st January or July, that precedes the last date fixed for submission of applications.
Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates should have completed Graduate in Law (under 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) from the recognized University in the Indian Union and recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court. Only candidates who have passed all their exam within the duration of their Course are eligible to apply.
Only candidates who have obtained their Law Degree not earlier than five years as on the date of Notification, are eligible to apply for the assignment of Research Law Assistant.
Candidates pursuing a Post-Graduate Degree in Law, or any other Degrees or Programmes requiring their compulsory attendance elsewhere, are not eligible to apply for the assignment of Research Law Assistant.
Selection Process: Selection process will be based on Viva Voce (Interview) Only.
