High Court of Judicature at Patna, invites online applications from eligible candidates for appointment to existing 550 vacant posts of Assistant, on probation in the ministerial establishment of Patna High Court, Patna.
Assistant- 550 Vacancies [Group ‘B’ Post]
Pay Scale: Level-7 (Rs. 44,900/- to 1,42,400/-) of the pay matrix of 7th PRC plus usual allowances.
Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty or its equivalent of a recognized University.
Candidates must having proficiency in Computer application. Possess Diploma/ Certificate of minimum six months course in Computer Application from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years as on 01-January-2023.However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.

Proposed Date of Preliminary Examination: 30-April-2023
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Test (Multiple Choice Question Based Objective Type), Written Test (Descriptive Type), Computer Proficiency Test followed by Interview. Selection will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in written test and interview.
The Preliminary Test shall be of total 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks shall be 40. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of preliminary exam will be allowed to appear in Written Test (Descriptive Type) General English and General Hindi of 60 marks and 40 marks respectively.
The Computer Proficiency Test will be qualifying in nature. The interview shall be of 10 marks.
Application Fee: Payment of fee shall be accepted through online mode only.
Rs. 1200/- for Unreserved/ BC/ EBC/ EWS Candidates
Rs. 600/- for SC/ ST/ OH Candidates
