Madhya Pradesh High court has issued the notification for recruitment of some hard working and eligible candidates for vacancies of English Stenographers.
Name of Post: High court of Madhya Pradesh is inviting the recruitments for 43 posts for English Stenographers.
Nature of The Post:
Conditions and services of post will be governed by the rules and regulations of court.
Total Number of Vacancies:
A total number of 43 posts are available as vacancy with reservations.
Important Dates:
Last of submission of application form: 21-11-2012
Date of preliminary examination: 23-12-2012
Main examination date will be notified afterwards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate needs to be a citizen of India.
- Must possess a graduate degree from a recognised university and should have passes examination of English Shorthand from recognised board with 80 words per minute.
- Must possess a sound knowledge of computer and its applications.
Age Limit:
For male candidates age limit should be equal to or above 18 years but less than 36 years on 01-01-2013
For female candidates age limit should be equal to or above 18 years but less than 46 years on 01-01-2013
Age relaxation of five years will be awarded to SC/ST/OBC for men and for women of widow/abandoned/divorce category.
Pay Scale:
Candidates w3ill be offered a pay scale of Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 with Rs. 3600 as grade pay.
Application Fee & How to:
All the candidates belonging to unreserved category are required to pay a fee of Rs. 400 while Rs. 200 will be applicable to reserved category along with Rs. 50 as postal charges when payment is made through kiosk. Payment can be made through credit card and internet banking on official website of MP high court. Another mode of payment is selected kiosks of MP high court where you can pay cash. List of such kiosks is also available on the site. Candidate will need to visit one of the kiosks and pay his fees in cash along with the postal charges then he can proceed with the application process.
Selection Process:
After preliminary examination results are declared selected candidates will have to send an application for main exam along with the required attested documents to “Examination Cell, Administrative Block, High Court of MP Jabalpur”. In case if no preliminary exam is held then candidates have to send applications for main examination 15 days before the exam to the mentioned address. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in English sentence formation with the given words, shorthand dictation and computer application knowledge. Written exam will be followed by interview which will comprise of 10 marks. After completion of these procedures list of final selected candidates will be displayed.

After filling application candidate can make payment through online mode or take help of kiosk prior filling the application.
