Nature of the Post: Recruitment for the post of Librarian grade II & library assistant is notified with vacancies in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research of ESI Corporation Mumbai.
Total Number of Vacancies: There are total number of 6 vacancies 1 in librarian grade II and 5 in library assistant category.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the post of Librarian grade II candidate must have passed matriculation with diploma in Library Science. For the post of Library Assistant candidate should possess matriculation with certification in Library Science.
Age Limit:
For both the posts candidate must be between 19 and 25 years as on 01-11-2012.
Pay Scale:
Pay scale decided for librarian grade II is Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2800 and for library assistant Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 1900.
Application Fee & How to:
An application fee of Rs. 225 will be entertained for unreserved category while the reserved category will be exempted from the application fee. Fe will be paid in form of demand draft in favour of “ESIC Saving Account Number II” payable at Mumbai.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination which will comprise of objective questions of 100 marks and interview which will carry 20 marks. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be done.
Mode of Application:
Only offline mode of application is entertained for the post online applications are not invited in any case.

Candidate needs to fill the application in the prescribed format that is uploaded on the website www.esicmaharashtra.gov.in along with the documents in support of age proof, education, category and other relevant documents. All the documents should be enclosed in the envelope depicting “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LIBRARIAN GRADE – II” OR “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LIBRARY ASSISTANT” and should reach the mentioned address before last date
