Konkan Railway Corporation Limited invites applications from eligible candidates (domicile of the States of Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka OR Land loser candidates) for recruitment of the Posts of Technicians in Electrical and Signal & Telecom Department of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited.
Electrician III/Electrical: 38 Vacancies
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Wireman/ Mechanic HT, LT Equipment’s and Cable Jointing/ Electronics Mechanic (OR) Matriculation/ SSLC plus CCAA in the trades.
Electrical Signal and Telecom Maintainer (ESTM) III: 27 Vacancies
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Wireman (OR) Matriculation/ SSLC plus CCAA in the trades.
Pay Scale: Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible

Opening Date and Time for Online Registration and submission of Application: 23-March-2018
Closing Date and Time for submission of Online Application: 30-April-2018
Computer Based Test CBT [Number of Questions: 100, Duration: 90 Minutes]: June, 2018
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01-July-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test tentatively scheduled in the month of June 2018, and medical fitness test. There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The minimum percentage of marks required to qualify for further process shall be UR @ 50%, OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST @ 40%.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 250/- for Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / Female / Minorities / Economically backward class
Rs. 500/- for All other candidates
