Security Printing Press, Hyderabad, one of the Nine units of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), A Mini-Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise Company wholly owned by Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Firemen and Junior Technician Positions at W-1 level, having all India transfer/posting liability.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of objective type online examination. The selected candidates will be placed on probation for a period of one year.
EXAM PATTERN:-
PART A [60 Minutes]- General Awareness of 15 Marks, Arithmetic Ability of 15 Marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning of 15 Marks and Basic English Language skills of 15 Marks. There is no Negative Marking.
PART B [60 Minutes]- Technical Subject (Subject Pertaining to Specific Stream) OF 90 Marks
Junior Technician (Printing/ Control)- 68 Vacancies
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate from NCVT/ SCVT in Printing Trade viz., Litho Offset Machine Minder, Letter Press Machine Minder, Offset Printing, Platemaking from any recognized Institution. Candidates possess Diploma in Printing technology from government recognized institutes/ polytechnics will be preferred.
Junior Technician (Fitter)- 06 Vacancies
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate in Fitter trade from NCVT/ SCVT.
Junior Technician (Turner)- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate in Turner trade from NCVT/ SCVT.
Junior Technician (Welder)- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate in Welder trade from NCVT/ SCVT.
Junior Technician (Electrical)- 03 Vacancies
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate in Electrical trade from NCVT/ SCVT.
Junior Technician (Electronics/ Instrumentation)- 03 Vacancies
Candidates must possess I.T.I. certificate in Electronics/ Instrumentation trade from NCVT/ SCVT.
Firemen (RM)- 01 Vacancy
Candidates must have passed Matriculation from a recognised board. Candidates must possess Certificate in Fireman training from Recognized Institution, and fulfill required physical standards.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years for Junior Technician and Fireman Posts as on 01-July-2022. Candidates should have born between 02-July-1997 to 01-July-2004 (both days Inclusive). However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18780-67390/-

PART A EXAM SYLLABUS [60 Minutes]-
Basic English Language Skills: Candidates‟ ability to understand Basic English would be tested.
Arithmetic Ability: Questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
General Intelligence and Reasoning: Questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ pattern- folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern-folding and
completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Small & Capital letters/ numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking.
General Awareness: Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate‟s general awareness around him and to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of day to day importance. Questions relating to India pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, economy, Polity & Indian Constitution. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study.
