Indian Navy invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of filling up 248 vacancies of Tradesman Skilled (General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Industrial) in NADs under administrative control of Headquarters, Western Naval Command Mumbai, AND Headquarters, Eastern Naval Command Visakhapatnam.
Tradesman Skilled– 248 Positions in NAD Mumbai, NAD Karwar, NAD Goa, NAD Visakhapatnam, NAD Rambili, NAD Sunabeda
General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Industrial Pay Scale- Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200) in the Pay Matrix
Trades/ Positions: Machinist / Turner, Driver Crane Mobile, Shipwright Wood/ Carpenter, Painter, Fitter Armament, Fitter General Mechanic Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Electronic Fitter, Skilled (Ammunition Mechanic), Driver Crane, Fitter Armament, Torpedo Fitter
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination of 100 marks, document verification, followed by medical examination.
Exam Pattern: Awareness in relevant trade/field of 50 Marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning of 10 Marks, Numerical Aptitude of 10 Marks, General English of 10 Marks, and General Awareness of 20 Marks

Educational Qualification:
For Skilled (Ammunition Mechanic)- Candidates must have passed matriculation (10th Standard) from a recognized Board/Institution, and possess two years Certificate Course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute under the Craftsmanship Training Scheme.
For All Other Trades- Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Institute or Board with knowledge of English. Candidates should have completed Apprenticeship training in the relevant trade for the post OR Mechanic or equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on closing date for receipt of online application. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale: General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Industrial Pay Scale- Level-2 (Rs. 19900-63200) in the Pay Matrix
Examination Fee: Rs. 205/- SC/ ST/ PwBDs/ Ex-serviceman and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the exam fee through online mode by net banking or Visa / Master/ RuPay Credit / Debit Card/ UPI.
