DGVCL has invited applications from qualified and talented candidates for post of Vidyut Sahayak, Gujarati Stenographer.
Nature of The Post:
Candidate of Gujarati Stenographer should have ample knowledge of typing and stenography. He is subjected to appointment for three years where he will be paid fixed remuneration. He might be considered to appoint for regular cadre establishment if he successfully completes three years.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate applying for Gujarati Stenographer should have completed graduation with minimum 55% marks for general and 50% for reserved category.
He should also possess Government Commercial Certificate for minimum speed of 60 words per minute in Gujarati shorthand and 25 words per minute in Gujarati typing. In addition knowledge of English typing and computer applications is preferable.
Age Limit:
Applicants should not be less than 18 years and more than 25 years as on 24-12-2012 for general candidate. Upper age relaxation will be offered to different categories as per the rules of company.
Pay Scale:
For 1st year of appointment selected candidate will get fixed remuneration of Rs. 5500, in 2nd year Rs. 6000 and in 3rd year he will get Rs. 6500. No additional allowance shall be offered except coverage of accident policy. After successful completion of three years candidate is likely to be posted as Junior Assistant (Steno typist Gujarat) for pay scale of Rs.9700 – 21710 subject to satisfaction of company.

Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test in 1:10 ratio followed by interview for selection procedure depending upon requirements of organisation. Management of company hold rights to reject any candidate from written test or interview.
