Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) is an electrical company under the aegis of Gujarat Electricity Board. The company distributes electricity to 7 districts of south Gujarat reaching to 23 lakhs consumers.
Applications are invited for post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer- Electrical) under DGVCL.
Nature of the Post: The post is technical in nature.
Total Number of Vacancies: A total of 54 vacancies are being offered under various circles of Dakshin Vij Gujarat Company Ltd.

Eligibility Criteria: a) The candidate should be B.E. (Electrical) from a recognized university approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks.
b) Knowledge of Computer operations and Gujarati language is must.
Age Limit (as on 24-12-2012):
The candidate must be of minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age for candidates belonging to reserved category and physically handicapped (PH) candidates.
Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs 1,56,000/- p.a. in the first year and Rs. 1,68,000/- p.a. in the second year.
Application Fee & How to: The application fee to be paid for the post is Rs. 500/- by way of Demand Draft for Unreserved/ SEBC category candidates. The fees for SC/ ST candidates is Rs 250/-.
