Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited is a power distribution company supplying electricity in South Gujarat. Incorporated by Gujarat electricity Board the company was created as part of development of power sector in Gujarat.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer- IT) under various circles of DCVCL.
Total Number of Vacancies: The total number of vacancies is four.

Eligibility Criteria:
a) The candidate must be B.E. (IT/ Computer) or B.Tech (IT/ Computer) from a recognized university approved by AICTE with minimum 60 % aggregate marks. For reserved category, the minimum marks are 55 %.
b) Knowledge Gujarati language is must for the candidates.
Age Limit (as on 24-12-2012):
The candidate must be of minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age of 5 years for candidates belonging to reserved category and females. For physically handicapped (PH) candidates the age concession is of 10 years.
Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs 1,56,000/- p.a. for a period of one year and Rs. 1,68,000/- p.a. for second year.
Application Fee & How to: The application fee to be paid for the post is Rs. 500/- by way of Demand Draft for General/ SEBC category candidates and Rs 250/- for SC/ ST candidates. The DD should be drawn in favor of ‘Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited’ payable at Surat.
