National Council of Educational Research and Technology (NCERT), invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the Post of Lower Division Clerk in the scale of pay Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- in NCERT HQ, New Delhi and its constituent.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of objective type written exam of 100 Marks (General Knowledge- 50 Marks, General English- 50 Marks), Descriptive type written exam of 50 marks (Written Expression- 50 Marks) and of 3 Hours duration held at New Delhi/ Delhi, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, and Shillong. Those who qualify in the written examination will have to appear for skill test on Computer.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board or university. Candidates should have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English, and 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01-January-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee: Rs. 200/-
Candidates are suggested to apy the application fee in form of Bank Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of “Secretary, NCERT” and payable at New Delhi. SC/ ST/ PWD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

After submission of the online application, a confirmation page with a Unique Registration Number (URN) will appear.
