The Lakshmi Vilas Bank was founded in the year 1926 by Shri VSN Ramalinga Chettiar and since then, it has never looked back. It has created several new horizons in the field of Indian Banking. The motive of this bank has always been ‘serving a common man’. It received the license from the Reserve Bank of India in the year 1958 and after that it has been endowed with the title of a ‘Scheduled Commercial Bank’.
This bank has its network in at least sixteen different states of India and has 290 branches that have added 10 different counters for different services. With a view to expand its service solutions for apex level banking operation in India, the Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVS) invites competent applications from young, dynamic and adequately qualified professionals to join its core as Probationary Clerks, and Probationary Officers in different states of India including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Raipur, Kolkata, Tamil Nadu and many more.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of Online Examination carrying total weight age of 150 marks with 90 minutes of time duration, followed by Personal Interview. Candidates appeared for Probationary Officer Post, will have to face Group Discussion as well.

Essential Academic Norms:
Probationary Clerk- The applicants must possess second class Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in any stream in 10+2+3 system of education. The applicant is expected to have proficiency in Computer Operation.
Probationary Officer- Candidates must be Graduate with minimum 60% marks in any stream in 10+2+3 system of education. Candidates must have studied in regular college affiliated to any recognized university. Candidates should have computer knowledge.
Age Considerations As on 01-January-2016:
Minimum 20 years and Maximum 27 years for Probationary Clerk Positions
Minimum 20 years and Maximum 30 years for Probationary Officer Positions
However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for privileged categories as per rules
