IBPS CWE PO/ MT Exam 13:
With the recent announcement from the IBPS, it is all set to go for the CWE (Preliminary & Main Examination, Common Interview and provisional allotment for recruitment of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in Participating Organisations) for the Probationary Officers and Management Trainees (IBPS-CWE-PO/MT-13) for the year 2023-2024 (financial year 2024-2025).
The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and mains.
Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank

IBPS CWE PO/ MT Exam 13 Educational Eligibility: A candidate must have completed a Bachelors Degree (Graduation) in any discipline to be considered eligible to apply for appearing the CWE. Knowledge of Computers is a mandatory qualification for IBPS CWE. Candidates should be familiar with Computer Applications and need to prove their competency through a Certification from reputed Institute.
IBPS CWE PO/ MT Exam 13 Age Specific Norms: The applicants interested for the job positions should have attained minimum of 20 year and should not have exceed 30 years as on 01-August-2023. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both dates inclusive).
However, the privileged category such as SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disability will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit as per normal regulations. The applicants must submit a competent certificate proving their caste from a competent authority in this regard to be eligible for consideration of age relaxation.
Pre-Examination Training Provision: Those candidates, who belong to SC/ST/ and Minority communities may apply for Pre-Examination Training imparted through the concerned participating banks under IBPS norms. The seats in the PMT classes are always limited. Hence, candidates should fill-in the requisition during filling up the Online Application form for IBPS-CWE-PO/MT-13.
Online Written Examination [IBPS CWE PO/ MT Exam 13]:
Preliminary Examination– The written examination will be conducted through online mode at selected test centers of IBPS.
The preliminary written examination for CWE will consist of English Language Proficiency (awarded 30 marks), Reasoning (awarded 35 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (awarded 35 marks).
The papers will be of 100 marks in total. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer while appearing the papers.
Main Examination- The Main written examination for CWE will consist of English Language Proficiency (awarded 40 marks), Reasoning (awarded 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (awarded 50 marks) General Awareness (with specific reference to banking and finance industry) (awarded 40 marks) and Computer Proficiency (awarded 20 marks).
The papers will be of 200 marks in total. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer while appearing the papers.
Viva-Voice/ Interview: The candidates who will be shortlisted with the Online Written Examination will have to attend a Personal Interview at the designated centers of IBPS. The final score will bear 20% weight to the entire percentage of competitive examination.
Application Fees: The candidates are required to remit an application fee for applying IBPS-CWE-PO/MT-13 as per the details below:
For SC/ST/PWD category: Rs.175/-
For all other categories: Rs.850/-
