Prisons Department, Karnataka invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Warder, and Jailor positions. Applicant can fill and submit the application through online from 21-December-2017 to 09-January-2018.

Qualification:
Warder- Candidates must have passed matriculation (10th class) or equivalent equivalent from recognised board.
Jailor- Candidates must be holder of Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Qualification. Preference being given to candidates possessing a Bachelor Degree in Sociology or Psychology or Criminology or Correctional Administration or Equivalent Qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 26 years for general category candidates as on 09-January-2018.
Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years for candidates belong to SC, ST, CAT-01, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates as on 09-January-2018.
Pay Scale-
Warder: Rs. 11600-200-12000-250-13000-300-14200-350-15600-400-17200-450-19000-500-21000/-
Jailor: Rs. 17650-450-19000-5000-21000-600-24600-700- 28800-800-32000/-
Selectin Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Exam, Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, and Viva-Voce (only for Jailor).

250/- for General and IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB category candidates
Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST, Category-I candidates
