Constable (GD) – 346 Vacancies (241 vacancies for Male candidates, and 105 vacancies for Female candidates)
Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates must have completed matriculation or 10th examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Candidates must have met required physical standards in terms of height, chest, weight, eye-sight.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, and Maximum 23 years as on 01-August-2015. SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates will be eligible to get the relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be eligible to get the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Band- 1) + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Application Fee:
- Candidates can make the payment in form of crossed Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order/ Banker’s Cheque in favour of Commandant 25 Bn BSF; payable at SBI Najafgarh ADB, New Delhi, Bank Code 001419 in case of demand draft, OR payable at Post Office Chhawla in case of IPO.
SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of height bar/ test, identity check, checking of documents, physical standard test, trail in respective sorts discipline, followed by medical examination.
