Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate must possess a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification.
Age Limit As on July 01,2016:
Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (AR), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (SAR CPL) and Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (APSP): Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 27 years.
Deputy Jailor- Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years.
Assistant Matron- Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 25 years.
However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (AR), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (SAR CPL) and Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (APSP): Rs.28940-78910/- per month
Deputy Jailor and Assistant Matron: Rs.26600-77030/- per month
Note: During the period of institutional training, candidate shall be eligible for stipend as fixed by the Government from time to time
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Physical Measurements Test, and Physical Efficiency Test.

Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Assistant Sub Inspector of Police in Finger Print Bureau: Candidates must possess Degree with Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology as one of the subjects awarded by any university in India.
