WBSEDCL Notification No. MPP/2018/05: West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), the nodal agency for the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) to promote energy effectiveness in West Bengal, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Office Executive Posts. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test, and Interview.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University, or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS level; AND must have passed certificate course/ any other courses on computer from the Institute specified in the official notification. OR
Passed Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)/Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS] OR
Passed Bachelor Degree in Science with Honours in Statistics or Honours in Computer Science [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS] OR
Passed Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least one full paper on Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology at Graduation level. [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS] OR
Passed Bachelor Degree in any discipline with MCA. [With either minimum 50% marks in Graduation or 50% marks in HS] OR
Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ 12th standards in vocational stream from State Council of Vocational Training, Government of West Bengal with Computer fundamentals and Programming and Computer Assembly and Maintenance, or IT enabled services and Computer fundamentals and Programming.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01-January-2018. [Relaxation in age limit as per rules.]
Pay Scale: Rs. 6,300/- – Rs. 20,200/- (PB) + Rs. 3,600/- (GP) plus other benefits and facilities as per West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited rules.
Processing & Examination Fees: Rs. 300/-
Application Fee will have to be deposited from 28.12.2018 to 18.01.2019 during banking hours.
Candidates are suggested to pay the processing and examination fee through a triplicate Challan in any branch of United Bank of India.
Applicants may pay the fee through Challan, that may downloaded from website, once have completed the personal details section of online application process.
Candidate are suggested to download the CHALLAN from the official website and take a printout of the same in A4 size paper (There would be three copy of challan, bank copy, candidate’s copy, and WBSEDCL’s copy) and deposit in any branch of United Bank of India along with application fee.
Once submitted the application fee in the bank, don’t forget to receive Transaction ID and SOL ID which are required to be recorded during Online registration in the Online Application Form by the candidates; along with candidate’s copy, and WBSEDCL’s copy of challan.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Personal Interview followed by Pre-Employment Medical Test.
Selected candidates will be subjected for one year probation period. Candidates may be confirmed only after successful completion of probation period, subjected to medical fitness test and police verification reports. Candidates must furnish a Rs. 1,00,000 bond with company for minimum period of 4 years.
