Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) Examination has been divided into two parts namely
- Part I
- Part II
Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) Exam Pattern:
Part I is of written examination again divided into three papers carrying a maximum marks of 600 as mentioned below

|Paper II||Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry)||2 Hours||200|
|Paper III||Mathematics||2 Hours||200|
Part II is of Personality Test carrying a maximum marks of 200 marks. Only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of Part I Examination, may appear for Part II.
