Junior Analyst in the Drugs Testing Laboratory: 14 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 9,300-34,800/- (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/-
Candidates must possess Degree in Pharmacy and have one year experience in the analysis of drugs; or Degree in Chemistry and have two year experience in the analysis of drugs; or Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and have two year experience in the analysis of drugs; or Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a special subject and have one year experience in the analysis of drugs.
Junior Chemist in Industries and Commerce Department: 06 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 9,300-34,800/- (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,400/-
Candidates must possess a first or Second Class Post Graduate Degree in any Branch of Chemistry of any university or institution recognized by the UGC; OR Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India).
Chemist in Industries and Commerce Department: 03 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 9,300-34,800/- (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,100/-
Candidates must possess a first or second class Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry OR Chemical Technology OR Industrial Chemistry OR Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India). Candidates should have minimum two years experience in research in pure or applied chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
Archaeological Chemist in Archaeology Department: 01 Vacancy, in the scale of pay Rs. 15,600-39,100/ (Pay Band-2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
Candidates must possess Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.
Note: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Age Limit: Candidates should not have completed 30 Years as on 01.07.2017. No maximum age limit for applicants who belong to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and oral test. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the Applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together.
Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
Applicants who have already registered in One Time Registration system paying Rs.50/- before 01-March-2017 and those who have registered for One-Time Registration on or after 01-March-2017 by paying Rs.150/- are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.
Examination Fee: Rs.150/- The Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Differently Abled Persons, and Destitute Widow of all communities are exempted from payment of examination fee.
