As a promising recruitment agency as appointed by the Government of India, SSC (Staff Selection Commission) bears a major responsibility for safeguarding interested of different credential of government at different profiles of operational positions. Category No. 1/BG:
Name of the Post: Senior Technical Assistant in Directorate of Cashew nut & Cocoa Development
Vacancy: 01–UR
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable by 05 years for Government servants, No Age relaxation for OBC, SC & ST)
Academics:
1. Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture
2. Two years experience in the field of Horticultural/ Agricultural Development in specific fields
Category No. 2/BG:
Name of the Post: Instructor (Fishing Technology) in Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical & Engineering Training
Vacancy: 01–UR
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable by 05 years for Government servants, No Age relaxation for OBC, SC & ST)
Academics:
- Master’s Degree in Zoology of Fishery Science or Industrial Fisheries
- Or, Post-Graduate Diploma in Fishery Science from Central Institute of Fishery Education, Mumbai.
- And, One year experience in Sea Fishing and Gear Fabrication
OR
- Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) with Three years experience in Sea Fishing and Gear Fabrication
Category No. 3/BG:
Name of the Post: Assistant in Office of the Development Commissioner, Cochin Special Economic Zone
Vacancy: 02 – UR (The post is identified not suitable for PH candidates)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200
Age Limit: 20 – 25 years (Relaxable by 15 years for Government servants/ Departmental candidates, No age relaxation for OBC, SC & ST)
Academics:
1. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
2. Knowledge in Word Processing and
3. Possessing a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.
Category No. 4/BG:
Name of the Post: Draughtsman Grade-I in Directorate of Indigenisation C/o Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Electronics)
Vacancy: 02 – UR & 01 – OBC
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 with GP of Rs. 4200
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable by 05 years for Government servants/ Departmental candidates, 03 years for OBC & No age relaxation for SC/ST)
Academics:
1. Higher Secondary (10+2) Or, Three Years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Or equivalent.
Application Fees:
The application fee of Rs.50 (Rupees Fifty Only) need to paid through the Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. No other mode of payment will be entertained. The CRFS will be available at any postal counters in India.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ PWD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying any fees.
Documents to be attached along with the application:
a) Central Recruitment Fee Stamps of Rs.50 affixed and clearly cancelled on the application form.
b) One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application
c) Two self-addressed envelopes of 12 cms x 25 cms size, one of which should be affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.6.
d) Documents in support of claim of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-S.
e) Attested copies of certificates
