Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024 i.e must have been born between 01/01/1999 and 01/01/2006 (both days inclusive) shall be permissible.
Sports Eligibility: Only those sportspersons who have acquired the following sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship after 01/04/2021 and are active, will be eligible to apply for appointment against above posts under Sports Quota.
Level 4- Level 5: Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior Category). OR Minimum 3rd Position in the World Cup (Junior/ Youth/Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category) / Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)/ Youth Olympics/Champions Trophy (Hockey)
Level 2- Level 3: Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Youth/Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category) / Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)/Youth Olympics/Champions Trophy (Hockey). OR
Minimum 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category / Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)/South Asian Federation Games (Senior Category )/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category ) /World University Games. OR
Minimum 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. OR
Minimum 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. OR
Minimum 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR
Acquired 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category).
Level 1: Represented in Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior) OR Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior) OR South Asian Federation Games (senior) or USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category) OR World University Games. OR
At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (senior) OR
Represented a State or Equivalent with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships only.

Examination Fees:
Rs.250/- for Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen/ Women, Minorities and Economic Backward. Class.
Rs. 500/- All Other candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fees through the payment gateway on RRC-WR official website integrated with the online application. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt with the date entered by the candidate will be generated which should be saved/printed and retained by the applicant.
Selection Process: candidates will be selected on the basis of trials and assessment of sports achievements, Educational Qualification. Final Merit List Candidates shall be prepared on the basis of total marks awarded by Trial Committee and Recruitment Committee.
