POWERGRID, Eastern Region Transmission System-II is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic persons to join its fold as Diploma Trainee. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test for Diploma Trainee Post, and Written Test and Computer Skill test for Junior Officer Trainee & Assistant (Finance) Posts.
Selected Candidates (Diploma Trainees and Jr. Officer Trainee-HR) shall undergo training for a period of One Year at POWERGRID/ POSOCO (wherever applicable) sites and Training Institute. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer/Officer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale Rs. 16000 – 35500/-(IDA) (Pre-revised).

Upper Age Limit: 28 Years for Assistant (Finance), and 27 years for all other posts as on 09-August-2017. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Diploma Trainee (Electrical)- Candidates must have passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute, with minimum 70% (relaxed to pass marks for SC/ PwD candidates) marks.
Diploma Trainee (IT)- Candidates must have passed Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Engg./ Information Technology from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Diploma Trainee (Electronics)- Candidates must have passed Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute, with minimum 70% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Junior Officer Trainee (HR)- Candidates must possess two years full time PG Diploma in Personnel Management course (or) MHRM (or) MSW (with Personnel Management as main subject) or MBA (02 years full time with specialization in HR) or equivalent from recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Assistant (Finance)- Candidates must possess B.Com with first first division from recognized Institute. Candidate should have One year Post qualification experience in Finance and Accounts.
Pay Scale:
Diploma Trainee/ Junior Officer Trainee- Rs. 16000–35500/- (IDA) (Pre-revised)
Assistant Finance: Rs. 12500 – 27500 (IDA) (Pre-revised)

Rs. 200/- for Assistant (Finance) Posts
SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
