Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of M/s Oil India Limited (OIL), a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs), Management Trainee in various disciplines; and Officer (Finance).

Selected Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) and Assistant Officer- Commercial (Trainee) will be on training for a period of one year and will be paid a consolidated stipend per month. On successful completion of training candidates will be considered for placement in Officers Grade E-2 and E-1 respectively with a probation period of one year in the respective grade pay scale.
Assistant Accounts Officer- 02 vacancies
Selected Assistant Accounts Officer shall be placed in Officer Grade E-1 with a probation period of 1 year in the respective grade pay scale.

Graduate Engineer Trainee- Candidates must possess first class Graduate Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE/ UGC having minimum 65% marks in aggregate.
Assistant Officer Commercial (Trainee)- Candidates must possess two years full time Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized University / Institute approved by UGC with a minimum 60% marks.
Assistant Accounts Officer- CA (Intermediate) Pass. Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institute approved by UGC with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates must possess three years post qualification experience.
Upper Age Limit: 30 years for Graduate Engineer Trainee, and 32 years for Assistant Officer Commercial (Trainee) and Assistant Accounts Officer Posts as on 01-July-2021.

SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process shall consist of Written Test and Personal Interview or/ and Group Discussion of the shortlisted candidates.
Section A: Technical/ Professional Knowledge comprising of questions related to Qualifying degree required for the applied position.
Section B : General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
Section C : English language
Section D : Reasoning & Numerical Ability
Candidates qualifying in the Computer Based Test in order of merit will be called for Group Task or/and Personal Interview.
Final Score – Combined scores of Computer Based Test (85% Weightage) + Group Task (5% Weightage) + Personal Interview (10% Weightage).
Numaligarh Refinery Limited is situated in a town of Golaghat district in Assam. It was established on 15th august, 1985 according to the provisions made by Assam Accord. NRL is involved in the speedy economic and industrial development of the entire region.
The company has its establishments at Numaligarh & Guwahati in Assam, at Siliguri & Kolkata in West Bengal and in Delhi.
This company was dedicated to service of the nation by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister of India on 9th July, 1999. Due to its creditable performance in commercial development it has been awarded with a title of Miniratna PSU Company by government of India.
The company also has participation in two Joint Venture Companies viz., Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd. (BCPL) and DNL Ltd., a company engaged in transportation of Natural Gas through pipeline.
At present the authorized capital of the company is approximately Rs. 1000 crores and paid up capital is Rs. 735.63 crores, with share holding of 61.65% for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, 12.35% for Government of Assam and 26% of Oil India Limited.
NRL is also engaged in producing the product range of Moto Spirit, Naphtha, LPG, Superior kerosene Oil, Aviation Turbine Fuel, raw Petroleum Diesel, High Speed coke and sulphur.

Mostly the recruitment process takes place at fresher level where the absorption of eligible candidates for Management Trainee and Graduate Engineer Trainees take place.
