Northeast Frontier Railway, RRC Guwahati Assam, Ministry of Railway, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentice Act 1961 in the designated trades over Northeast Frontier Railway at Workshops/ Units.

Selection Procedure- Candidates will be selected on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks), and ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. There will be no written test or viva.
The Selected Candidates engaged as Apprentices will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a Stipend during the training at the prescribed rate.
Every trade Apprentice on completion of the training will be granted a certificate of proficiency by the National Council, on passing a test conducted by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades to determine his proficiency in the Designated Trade.

Qualification: The candidate must have passed matriculation/ 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and possess National Trade ITI Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01-April-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the fee through through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking. SC, ST, Physically handicapped and Women candidates are relaxed from application fee.
